GPE Copper RF Enclosure
The GPE RF enclosure functions as a Faraday cage, constructed from high-quality 3oz copper foil panels that are clamped together to ensure long-term shielding integrity. Electrical cables, medical gas lines, and other utilities are routed discreetly through wall cavities, allowing architects full design flexibility and enabling future MRI upgrades or modifications. All components—including doors, windows, and service penetrations—are made of non-magnetic materials and are either shielded or fitted with RF filters to prevent interference. The entire enclosure is dielectrically insulated from the building structure for maximum RF isolation.
Delivered in prefabricated modules, the enclosure is assembled on-site by GPE technicians or trained personnel. Its self-supporting design makes it independent of surrounding walls and suitable for complex architectural environments such as sloped ceilings, beams, or tight spaces near pillars. With the exception of the floor, the enclosure can be dismantled and reassembled at another location if needed. The modular construction also allows easy access for MRI equipment replacement or upgrades, making the GPE RF Cage a highly flexible and future-ready solution.
